2006 Sawyer County Fair Exhibitor Information
Event: Sawyer County Fair, Thursday, August 3 Sunday, August 6, 2006
Terms and Conditions: The following terms and conditions are understood:
- This lease shall not become effective until Exhibitor Application Form, fees, certificate of insurance, and S-240 form is on file with the SCFA.
- The State of Wisconsin requires all vendors to complete a sellers form, S-240. Please complete the form and return with your application.
- Exhibitors must be set-up by Thursday at 12:00 noon. SCFA reserves the right to resell any spaces not occupied by Thursday 1:00 p.m
- Suggested hours of operation are Thursday Saturday, 12:00 noon. - 8 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 noon. - 7 p.m.
- Space allotted may not be sublet.
- All items sold, or given away, shall be listed on the application and approved by the SCFA.
- Handbills, fliers, etc. will only be distributed with prior SCFA approval. No exhibitor shall distribute items outside of their lease area.
- Designated parking space is not available. You may drive up to your space to load or unload, but must park in regular parking areas.
- No food or beverage samples may be given without prior permission from the SCFA. The SCFA has the right to deny the display and/or sale of any items, which in its judgment, are inappropriate.
- Public Address systems or other noise makers must be previously approved by the SCFA.
- Non-profit booths in the Exhibit Hall will be given one 8 table and 2 chairs. Space is limited.
- Outdoor space size is approximately 10 x 10. Exhibitors must provide their own equipment i.e. tent, tables, chairs. Implement/vehicle exhibitor space size is negotiable.
- Exhibitors must keep their areas neat and are expected to have space cleaned up prior to leaving the fair.
Fees
- $50 non-refundable fee, payable to SCFA, due by July 1 with Exhibitor Application Form, S-240 Form and certificate of insurance.
- Non-profit exhibitor space is free of charge, however all associated paperwork applies.
- $50 charge for each space for electricity Special hook-ups or adapters must have prior permission from SCFA, and will be supplied by the exhibitor.
Admission
2 free passes will be issued. Lost, stolen, or additional passes must be purchased.
Insurance
Vendors must provide a certificate of insurance that names the Sawyer County Fair Association as additional insured. A certificate of insurance is due with Exhibitor Application.
Camping
Camping facilities are not available on the grounds. Nearby camping facilities include: KOA 634-2331, LCO Lodge 634-8574, Lake Chippewa Campground 462-3672.
The lessee and its representatives agree to hold the Sawyer County and the Sawyer County Fair Association harmless from any loss or damage, including attorneys fees, arising out of lessees use of the Sawyer County Fairgrounds, whether that loss arises from bodily injury, property damage or from any other cause. In the event that Sawyer County or SCFA receive notice of any injury, property damage or claim of any type arising out of the lessees use of the SCF, lessee agrees to defend Sawyer County and the SCFA and compensate them. If lessee fails to defend Sawyer County and the SCFA after notice, Sawyer County and SCFA may engage attorneys. Lessee shall bear the cost of such attorneys
